Iceland Style

Iceland in the winter can be cold! Bring warm layers that can block the fierce winds. We also found crampons or microspikes helpful as many of the attractions had icy parking lots and these bring some extra security for stabilizing you for the perfect shot.

Build Your Adventure Style

North Face Waterproof Pants

Rainproof, windproof and very easy on and off with a pull on style. Great to slip over leggings when it’s extra chilly.

Mammut Coat

Super warm with many great colors to select. I use mine on cold weather adventures and for snowboarding.

Prana Diva Skirt

I always bring this skirt for cool weather travels. Makes an insulated seat for keeping your butt warm and goes very well over leggings.

Patagonia Insulated Leggings

Soft, cozy leggings are very comfortable for the long car travels between sites and you can pair them with a down skirt for a little extra warmth.

Asolo Boots

Versatile hiking boots good for cool or warm weather depending on which socks you choose. I love mine in this turquoise color.

North Face Hiking Boots

Comfortable, rugged hiking boots with excellent grip from scrambling over rocks (or icebergs when paired with crampons!)

Button Down Fleece Flannels

One of our favorite layering items. Just enough warm to take out the chilly air but thin enough to pair with a winter coat.

Kuhl Klash Hiking Pants

These Kuhl Klash hiking pants are perfect for Iceland weather. This hiking pant is incredibly comfortable with plenty of stretch for big strides and rock scrambles. These pants are very rugged and also water resistant. Whether you are walking along the very windy black sand beach or hiking the Kofi trail these pants won’t let you down.
